In 2016, after so many travels in my life, I realized that my journey is increasingly connected to nature and that inner peace is easily found in contact with it.

This, combined with the desire to share it, was the beginning of the creation of this Glamping project in the jungle that today we continue to treasure with devotion.

Born to be wild,

It could be said that we are not a concept for everyone, we are intended for people born to be free, something further away from the traps of the ego, overcrowding, and who seek for the “body to body” with nature without depriving them of certain comforts. We are land for lovers and adventurers, we are fertilizer for the soul.

A day with us means a good awakening with the songs of amazing birds, it means having near your cabin places to meditate, practice yoga or get a good regenerative massage; It means a good and healthy breakfast and the possibility of choosing in two cenotes to bathe or simply let yourself be entertained by the fun of one of them in an energizing fish spa.

You will have the relaxing feeling of being in the middle of the jungle and with the proximity of civilization less than 400 meters away, with the iconic beach with an abundance of Akumal turtles.

If you like to take care of your diet you will enjoy Ingrid’s menu, she has specialized in delicious “flexitarian” cuisine.

A few minutes away from the Glamping you can visit our environmental management unit “Akumal Natura Rescue”, after all, we created the Glamping to provide resources for the maintenance of the 85 wildlife animals to which we offer refuge until their release. You can also get on one of our bicycles to Akumal beach, one of the few places to bathe with the turtles that live in freedom in Akumal Bay.

It was wonderful! I felt very welcome and well relaxed and will def come back! 🙂 ☺ I liked the staff and the peace, the food and the nature. When swimming in the cenote, i saw the most beatutiful birds, big lizards, a mother bird nesting in the cave and monkey swinging above me. ☹ that the internet was not available in the rooms but it is glamping and meant to be a place to get away from it all even internet.

Very Good ☺ It was so amazing to be surrounded by nature. We made some lovely iguana friends. Great news we didn't see that many bugs and it wasn't the worst place for mosquitos (go figure!) and for our 'giraffe' room the wifi was fantastic. The bathroom 'outside' had great hot water and water pressure and the room itself was spacious and clean. The mosquito net added extra security and the room can be blacked out so we slept really well until about 4/5 am when you hear the building site nearby. Free bikes and beautiful cenotes with a fish spa 🙂 ☹ 1. Sadly the building site and trucks nearby are very loud, I woke up a few times thinking there's a storm outside. 2. On the check in day we weren't greeted with a smile, the girl seemed more annoyed and disturbed than anything else. 3. The breakfast, although free, was very limited. Fruit, juice, toast, yogurt, granola and jam. We had to keep asking for another pot of yogurt every morning (which was like two spoonfuls). I understand it creates less waste but we would hate to ask for more than 2 times.

We loved the warm and welcoming staff. A few small upgrades could go a long way for the guest rooms and experience ☺ Friendly reception and amazing tour of the wildlife sanctuary and cenote. ☹ A few small upgrades could make a big difference for guests - ie, the bathrooms could use an upgrade and the included breakfast could be a little better. Although we appreciated the friendly service.

Un séjour agréable ☺Le cadre est très agréable, et le personnel sympathique. Nous avons aimé notre séjour au sein de l'établissement ! ☹Manque de WiFi dans les habitations (disponible toutefois dans la partie restauration) mais c'est aussi une bonne occasion de se "déconnecter".

Bof. Heureusement qu’il y a des choses à voir / faire autour. ☺L’originalité de l’hébergement, la forêt, l’accès au petit cenote pour la fille. ☹Le froid et l’humidité en décembre, pas de couverture supplémentaire, 2 nuits désagréables, frigorifiées. Le cénote accessible décevant. Impossibilité de faire la visite du refuge ! ou alors plus cher que prévu … on a laissé tomber. Pas vu un singe … à COBA oui. Réveillon du 31/12 : 2000 pesos / personne le repas … abusé ! On a aussi laissé tomber. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas terrible. Très loin de la plage et le moindre taxi moto 120 pesos, abusé.

Schön aber laut ☺Die Natur ist schön und mit dem Rad gleich am Strand. mit dem ADO vom Flughafen für wenig Geld. ☹Nebenan ist eine 24/7 Baustelle für den Maya Train und es ist sehr laut und auch Nachts. Das Frühstück ist mâssig. Achtung kein 🏧 in der Nâhe.

Visita Akumal Natura Rescue Hicimos la experiencia de Akumal Natura Rescue y nos encantó, nos mostraron el excelente trabajo que realizan para ayudar a los animales, paseamos por la selva y terminamos con un baño en el cenote cerrado más espectacular que he visto. Gracias a César, tuvimos la suerte de tenerle como guía y consiguió que todo fuese espectacular. También conocimos a las abejas meliponas y probamos su miel que es muy rica!

Memorable lunch in the tropics Delicious coconut shrimp among other dishes was had by our group of 14. Lovely backdrop, the tropical jungle. Excellent explanations of the food types and various dishes. Absolutely recommended. The walk to the Cenote - a real plus. Thanks to the gracious hosts!

Nature is the luxury Nestled in the jungle of Akumal is a glamping experience everyone should experience at least once. This was not only a beautiful, almost spiritual stay, but you’ll also feel good knowing that the money they make goes to the animal sanctuary which rehabs injured or orphaned animals back into the wild. They also are repopulating the endangered melipona bee. The beds are comfy, the food is nothing short of 5 star quality, the honey is the best I’ve tasted, the cenote is breathtaking. What more could you ask for?

Amazing Experience We visited in October 2023. Myself, My wife and our two sons aged 9 and 4. It was by far the best thing we did in our 2 weeks in Mexico. Our guide Cesar was outstanding. The whole place is out of this world. Nestled in the middle of a thick jungle. Please check it out for yourselves!

Natura Reserve is a must! This was a fantastic tour and Caesar has a passion for the animals he cares for. I would hands down do this again! Most beautiful cenote! Support a great cause and try some local honey! So cool to see the bees in their natural habitat♡

Wonderful I'm not a camper but I'm definitely a glamour! Excellent service, great staff. Restaurant on property so I didn't have to leave ( if I didn't want to) to eat. Water pressure is great and hot. A beautiful relaxing place, was a reader's paradise. The kindest, most helpful staff. I can't sing the praises of this place enough. I wish my stay was longer, will definitely be doing this again.

Inolvidable Un lugar encantador donde la natura es la la dueña absoluta . Las cabañas están perfetta con agua caliente , mosquetera y ventilador . El Glamping tiene dos ceñiré donde bañarse y un lugar por practicar yoga . Desayuno perfetto !!

Amazing morning in the jungle! Cesar was the guide for our family. He and the entire staff have a passion for both the animals, environment AND educating people about them. Cesar took his time with our family and the love that he has for his job and for the creatures is his care is so very evident. My kids have been twice and are already talking about coming back next year. Bring bug spray.

Good: Super friendly staff; Bad: mosquitos get inside tent the good: wonderful to be in nature; exceptionally friendly staff; great to have a restaurant and cenote onsite; restaurant made good fajitas; chill vibe; really cool that they sell the honey they make onsite; reasonably priced overall. I really liked that it was part of their animal rehabilitation operation and the tour they offered was also great, great tour guide Chris. you get to see beautiful birds at the cenote onsite. did not get sick from any of the restaurant food. really convenient to have a modest breakfast included. the bad: when it is hot at night you cannot feel the fan breeze unless you open the mosquito netting, and then you get a lot of bites. the tents do a decent job at keeping out the bugs, however I noticed several gaps where bugs/mosquitos could enter, so it's not a perfectly sealed tent. i.e. the tent's front entrance drapes have a poorly velcroed bottom that isn't exact so you can't get a seal in all places, and the door leading to the outdoor bathroom has some big gaps. The mosquito netting had several holes. make sure to wear bug spray at night! this part stressed me out because I get bitten by mosquitos much more than other people. Some nights you can hear clubbing music from somewhere else really late into the night - I woke up at 2:30 AM to hear it. the shower floor, which is made of pebbles in cement, was very uncomfortable on my feet. outlining the property is a fence on one side and a cinderblock wall on the other, and we got a tent that was near the cinderblock wall - was not as picturesque as I would have liked. overall: great price at $72/night and really liked the camp's setup. relatively clean. staff is all great and super friendly. however, really didn't like having to choose between having the fan breeze or protective mosquito netting.

Cesar was an AWESOME tour guide and we felt like we seriously got our money’s worth with the animal tour and cenote visit. He was super funny and was so knowledgeable about the local plants and the animals and you could feel how passionate he was about rehabilitating animals and returning them to the wild with every word. We had a honey tasting afterward and it was SO different from the taste of the honey you can have in the US. The food at the restaurant was also awesome. Cannot recommend enough!

Notre premier glamping et un bon souvenir ! Le site est situé dans la forêt, à 10min a pied (2-3min en voiture) de la ville d'Akumal. L'accueil est très bien, les logements de qualité et très typiques ! Il y a même des cenotes privées uniquement accessibles aux résidents ! Malheureusement, comme beaucoup de commentaires le disent il y a la construction du train à quelques dizaines de mètres du glamping... Et cela fait beaucoup de bruit assez tôt le matin, dommage !

We came here to do a tour through the sanctuary and cenote with Cesar - and it was amazing!!! We really wanted something different, environmental, we could give back and experience the beauty of nature. We got all of that and then some - animals wonderfully cared for and a cenote that takes your breath away.
